SYNOPSES - YOUTH CLASSES

Toddlers to Age 3 - Urban Ministries
These classes build self-esteem through educational visuals. Our curriculum encourages love and acceptance in the classroom. Classes consist of weekly Bible stories, memory verses and activities.
Primary (Ages 4 and 5 to Grade 2) - Urban Ministries
Students work together through cooperative activities. In addition to Bible lessons and memory verses, students complete classroom projects that help foster camaraderie, teaching that God rewards good behavior.
Middle (Grades 3 and 4) - Urban Ministries
Third and Fourth graders are struggling with a new independence. This class guides them to establish habits that are foundational to their becoming a part of the church.
Juniors (Grades 5 and 6) - Pro-Teen
Are encouraged to develop their own talents and worship the Lord in music, art, drama, writing, and other creative forms. They meet in a fun, kid-friendly ministry environment where their culture is embraced and learning is enhanced.
Young Teens (Grades 7 and 8) - Pro-Teen
They enter a class called J.A.M. - Jesus and Me. They study biblical truths in a compelling way that relates to the lifestyles of today's young teens. Their lessons feature such themes as Gospel Jams, Locker Room and Reality Check.
Teen (Grades 9 through 12) - Pro-Teen
These lessons link Bible verses to problems facing today's teens. Classes include thought-provoking bible study questions, lessons and projects, along with student-led rap sessions, debates, skits and more. It is a warm environment where students help one another face the problems of today.
Young Adult (Ages 18 through 25) - Milk/Bread Series
A war is raging. This study will teach you how to deal with thousands of thoughts you have everyday and focus your mind to think the way God thinks. Learn to gain control over your mind and find freedom and peace; recognize damaging thoughts and stop them from influencing your life; be patient with yourself even when you made mistakes; arm yourself with the Word of God, praise, prayer, and other powerful spiritual weapons and follow the light out of your mental "wilderness".
